Sooo why Sunday Book Club?

This is a question that I get asked fairly often, so I figured it's time to put pen to paper... (or finger to keyboard?) and let you know why. Simply put, I love Sundays. 🩵 It's my favorite day of the week other than Tuesday (& there's absolutely no reason for that except that I like the way Tuesday sounds), anyway, back to Sundays...

Sundays are a typical reset day for me. I'm preparing for the upcoming week, whether it's cleaning & laundry, maybe some meal prep, and self-care. But let's focus on self-care. It's a day where I take time for myself. Think everything from the typical "everything shower" to lighting a candle and starting a new week in my journal. 

Loving Sundays essentially comes down to the feeling that they've always represented for me. Sundays smell like fresh mown grass & cherry popsicles dripping on the sidewalk in the summer sun. Like waking up to pancakes for breakfast and hearing Sade's Diamond Life on vinyl. It's a fresh morning breeze through open windows while chimes dance in the wind. Sundays feel like a good book and a matcha latte. Like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers. It's the day I married my best friend. Sundays feel like home. 

I've 100% tripped over this explanation a few times in person, but I hope that helps you understand a little bit more about why I chose the name Sunday Book Club. I wanted my business name to evoke emotion more than anything else, and I hope that my art gives you that same cozy feeling of home.
